After a song has been posted on the homepage for more than 60 days, any listener can bid reputation points to re-post the song again by clicking on the “revive” link located in the song player. In every three hour period, the user who has the highest “revive bid” will have their song posted. To find a song to revive, mouse over the 'browse' tab on your user bar (next to your user name in the top gray bar). A menu will drop down and you should see a 'revive bids' link, you then have to click it. What? Did you think it would do it on it's own? Wrong universe buddy!

Once on the revive bids page, pick a song and listen to it. That's right, any song. Go on, I dare you!

If you're a rebel, however, you do not have to revive songs strictly from the revives page. You could just be cruising along and listening to your favorite band, smoking some… cigarettes (yeah, cigarettes!) and you find a song by them that needs it's heart beating again. You can just resuscitate it from there! Apparently this is also a better way of reviving a song, so it's up to you!

Once at the revive page, you can click on 'revive' in the songs box and a window will pop up and proceed trying to rob you of your dignity. After you've come to, you can place your bid amount in the box and hit 'revive'. Pretty simple huh? Well, it can be if you “get it” but this is for people who presumably do not. Read on young grasshoppah.

It has been thought that you can only bid with as much reputation as you have. This is NOT true, as they only let you bid a maximum of half of the reputation you have. So let's say you have 8,000 reputation. You can bid with a maximum of 4,000 or else they won't let you bid saying you'll go broke. You will only lose that many rep points if your bid is higher than all the other bids made. If your song doesn't make it to the home page, you still keep your points.

After winning a bid, you will also NOT go down levels, even if your reputation points no longer meet the requirements for your level. You will stay at your level and your white bar will not upgrade until you have regained all your reputation points. So don't worry about deleveling, it's not possible!

Oh, you wanted more? Okay! Fine! You pulled my leg right off.. You have to be level 10 before you can revive a song *bah humbug* I know. If you're under level 10, and you try to revive (even if you have enough points) it will just tell you that you do not have enough points. Weird, I know.
