Quests are tasks that are assigned to a listener that can be performed to earn hearts and reputation points. They are divided into two main categories: Main Quests, and Daily Quests.

Completing a number of quests is also a requirement for the awarding of levels in The Ring Bearer achievement.

Main quests are assigned to a listener, and remain in the quest log until they are completed, or “postponed”.

Daily quests are assigned to a listener, as the name implies, on a daily basis, at Roll Over. All daily quest that are not completed within that 24 hour period will be removed, and replaced with a new set of quests on the following day.

Certain main quests may become contenders for daily quests, after they are initially completed when assigned as a main quest.

TIP: A logged in listener can delay the resetting of quests by not visiting the home page, as this is what seems to trigger daily updates (including the daily assignment of hearts). In this way, some quests in progress may be completed before they are removed.

Tips: The Guide writeup on this is somewhat confusing. You don't need to place a bid on the “revive bids” page for it to count. In fact, it would be a better strategy to find a song from elsewhere, particularly one you've already max-hearted, and place a bid on it instead.
